OUR PROJECT
This eTwinning project is being carried out by students of two public secondary schools: Af Chapman Gymnasieskola, from Karlskrona, Sweden and Institut Joaquima Pla i Farreras, from Sant Cugat del Vallès, Spain. Our languages of communication are either English or Spanish. This is because the Swedish pupils study Spanish (but they also speak English) and the Spanish pupils study English as a foreign language.

We have agreed to describe the activities that take place in our main squares during the months we are working on this project, as we believe that this information will tell us a great deal about our both societies as most important celebrations, festivals and social life of a town can be traced out in this public space, where tolerance and respect are the cornerstones of the peaceful coexistence of its inhabitants.

The square is also the starting point to study our towns and countries and also to learn about their history, their language and eventually the life and expectations of those teeangers who walk through our squares.
